Innovation Launch Pad Update
By Joe Gardiner Thursday, 9th June 2011
Following on from my previous post, ‘Experiences with Innovation Launch Pad‘, I have an update about how my proposal is getting on!
We’re now in the final stages of the process, stage 5 out of 6, and the best proposals are now being picked for the last stage in July.
30th May – 1st July – Selection & Presentation Phase
The final selection of proposals will take place and mentoring will be undertaken with those SMEs submitting the best proposals. They will then work with our team of volunteer entrepreneurs on preparing their final presentations for the Product Surgery.
July
Those SMEs submitting proposals that demonstrate the highest impact will be invited to present at a Product Surgery in July (date to be confirmed). In addition, Downing Street will host a reception for those with the best proposals.
At the moment we are unsure if the CatN proposal has been selected, however we finished in third place for approval rating out of 150 proposals so it is looking hopeful. If we get through to the next stage we will have a chance to pitch our idea to senior Civil Servants and really engage with Government in the way we have been trying to for that last 12 months.
I’ll keep you updated as we hear anything from Innovation Launch Pad.
