Dynamic Content

By Joe Gardiner Monday, 12th April 2010

Dynamic content is content in a web page that is generated and customised for each individual user requesting the content, or content that continuously changes and is updated as the user views the page. Dynamic content is not hard coded into the website, and content and layout are created separately, where layout is hard-coded into the html or php web files, and the content will commonly be generated from a database. Dynamic sites suit web site owners who have regularly changing content, like an online store, blog post, or photo gallery.
